Wow .... I sneak in quickly to try to catch up on recent posts, and maybe read a few of the ten-plus pages I've yet to catch up on, (before going back to finishing a maternity dress) and I find this ....

Europanya, thanks for letting us know how ComicCon went! And Penn, thanks for your report as well! We're all incredibly jealous of you, you both realize!!

Thanks for allowing us to vicariously experience the whole deal through your Haremite/Goonie eyes!! I think, whether we love Book!Fro or Movie!Fro or some combination thereof (and the same would go for Merry and Samas well) -- being in the actors' presence would definitely have been far beyond a 'treat' for any of us!!

Europanya, thank you ever so much for sharing that with us! I found myself alternately holding my breath and squeeing like a fangirl while I read it! I am so impressed with your presence of mind - and your wrote it up so beautifully it transported me there.

That's all I can say - I'm afraid that the vicarious experience has caused massive casualties where my brain electrons meet my hormones, and it will be a while before I can clear the lanes to allow normal traffic flow in my brain once again.

Although, after reading Penn and Europanya's reports I am just a gibbering pile of goo so it hasnt helped on the productivity front.

Hours later and I'm still dying over Europanya's report. My goodness, if the movies were like porn for chicks, this is like Penthouse Forum for chicks. That scene with holding back the curtain for him...good god, that's better than fiction! How on earth could you resist nuzzling his neck or...or...licking his face or something? And the wrestling...the wrestling...do you realize that if Dom had gotten in on that, you would have been one of the few people on earth to have witnessed an actual hobbitpile? You pretty much witnessed one as it is! Two hobbits is enough for a pile, yes? I can't even begin to imagine the kind of fics this will spawn in Europanya's already fervid imagination!

Man, what a day. What a day. And three of my favourite smutty fics were updated. I was on autopilot at work. Talked to people on the phone while inside my head sirens and fireworks were going off. I was trembling after reading Europanya’s posts. Thank you, Europanya! You’ve recorded every second for posterity!

How sweet was Sean’s reaction to the gift?

Here is a snippet from a friend in NorthWesterness, he just got back from comic Con:


'There was not much footage in the preview, lots of scenes of warriors
riding horses. There was some battle schematics of the seige of
minas tirith, and assurances that it would dwarf the Battle of Helm's
Deep and all other battle scenes ever committed to film. There was a
great little scene between Gandalf and Pippin on the battlements of
Minas Tirith... Do Frodo and Sam have any hope left, Gandalf? --They
never had much hope, a fool's hope at best (you had to hear it, it
was GREAT). Then there were some still photographs of all four of
the hobbits at different points in ROTK, especially Frodo, showing
that he is just WRECKED past the point of endurance.... this one's
going to be a real wrencher and tearjerker, folks, it hurt my heart
just to look at it. Elijah said in a recorded interview that ROTK
was going to be better than the first two movies put together, and he looked like he meant it.'


YOIKS! Cannot wait!!!!!
